Cotton rope is popular because of its natural look and durability. Our ropes are made of 100 percent cotton, which means they are soft to the touch, breathable and safe to use.
It is a 100 percent natural rope, which means it is best used indoors in a dry environment. Outdoor use is possible, but keep in mind that the rope will deteriorate.

Colors & Styles
Whether you prefer a classic white color or are looking for something more striking, such as red or blue, our cotton ropes are available in a wide range of colors. The colors are limited to certain diameters, though. In particular, the larger diameters are available in ecru, black and red.
If you want a special color, take ecru cotton cord, which you then color yourself. Cotton actually absorbs dyes very well.
For added versatility, you can choose from braided or beaten cord, depending on its intended use and the aesthetic you want to achieve.
Eco-Friendly Choice
Cotton is a natural, biodegradable material, making it an eco-friendly choice compared to synthetic alternatives such as nylon or polyester. Our cotton ropes are also unbleached or dyed with eco-friendly dyes.
Care Tips
Since cotton absorbs well, it is best to keep the rope as dry as possible. Cotton cord can be washed if it gets very dirty. Not with hot water, as it will shrink. Make sure it dries very well to prevent mold.
With Core vs Without Core
With braided cotton, for certain diameters you have the choice of cord with core and cord without core.
Without Core (Hollow)
In this version, you have a braided cord that feels a bit more flexible. The middle is hollow, so you can press the cord. This also gives you the option of feeding something through it, like an audio cable for example.
With Core
This consists of a braided core with a jacket braided around it. This gives you a cord that holds its shape well and is not so easily compressed. It feels a little more rigid but still soft to the touch.
