32 mm rope is one of the most popular diameters for use in gardens as a barrier rope.
We do plenty of testing on breaking strength, but in this case something else matters: how well does it hold up in appearance after years of outdoor use.
We wouldn't be Prorope if we didn't just go ahead and test that.
So here's the current test setup â just in a corner of a horse pasture where nobody touches the rope.

We're leaving these ropes exposed to the elements on the same side. That way we'll see how they develop in appearance over time.
This gives us a solid comparison between these 3 ropes. Which one will hold its looks the best?
And what does that tell you about the choice when you factor in price as well?
